With OSINT, one survivor-investigator is re-enacting the Harrowing of Hell.

When an ethical hacker friend flagged up a post on Instagram, Nora didn’t expect to see a young girl humiliated, live on stream. The girl had been raped; through her tears, she was forced to cut her hair and eat it, and cut symbols into her skin.
This OSINT analyst, software developer and digital children’s safety activist had stumbled upon a rotten ecosystem sprawling beneath the surface of the internet’s largest platforms.
She would come to know it as ‘764’.
Nora immediately reported the material to Instagram, but Meta did not respond. As she scrolled, she found this sickening livestream post was only one strand in a web of brutal and sadistic child abuse content. As the only lead she could find, hashtags and group names caught Nora’s eye. They were a violent and esoteric code to crack: ‘O9A’, ‘764’, ‘CVLT’, ‘Court’, ‘Kaskar’, ‘Harm Nation’, ‘Leak Society’, ‘Slitbunnies’, ‘7997’, ‘6996’, ‘8884’, ‘555’, ‘Slit Town’, ‘404’, ‘NMK’, ‘SR1’, ‘XVN’, ‘ANARCHY’, ‘H3ll’…
‘Very rarely do we get a chance to look evil in the face… This may be one of those times.’ – Jett Smith, Prosecutor at the trial of a ‘764’ Perpetrator. [Source: Washington Post/Archive]
Nora approached these arrangements of three or four numbers, deliberately intimidating words and l33tspeak like ‘gang signs’. She began to research. Her OSINT work brought up torture networks, a militant far-right accelerationist terror movement named the ‘Order of Nine Angles’, and talk of devil-worship; a decentralized mass with many names, 764 was a horrific reality that should be a wild conspiracy theory, not inarguable truth. Could a self-styled ‘Satanic neo-Nazi cult’ really be perpetrating the most extreme, sadistic forms of child sextortion? If so, how could this be going on in plain sight?
Like an avenging angel, Nora set out to take on this so-called ‘Devil’ - and win.

‘I simply cannot look away.’ - Nora, Digital Child Safety Activist [Source: OSINT Industries]
Nora is a software developer, junior data scientist, cybersecurity expert, and volunteer digital activist for children’s safety.
In her professional life - her "day job" - Nora’s focus is on data science, ethical hacking and programming. Meanwhile, her volunteer work is entirely OSINT-led, and entirely separate from her ‘daytime’ persona. Her alter-ego as a guardian angel is her personal mission, and ‘every free hour’ is devoted to the task of protecting children from unspeakable threats they face online.
Initially working alone, Nora has since made contact with a wider army of OSINT experts in combat with the spread of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM). She has been supported by OSINT Industries with tools and resources, and in 2021, her investigative work saw her take up a two-year partnership with the Anti-Human Trafficking Initiative (ATII), spearheading their action against 764 groups.
Nora is a hacker, an activist, and an OSINT investigator, but also a sexual abuse survivor. This history powers Nora’s mission, acting as a spur for her passion and commitment while sharpening her senses for victims who need her. Nora’s process of ‘uncovering what others might deem impossible’ and speaking the unheard truth to power is a journey of belief; a journey she describes as unique to survivors. Nora’s bizarre and horrific findings are hard to imagine, but all abuse is unbelievable to those who have not endured it. By confronting the unbelievable, Nora’s work helps other survivors - when they endure unfathomable abuse - to be believed too.
'Survivors have lived the horror… They can look at things other people cannot look at. Others cannot endure it, they cannot imagine it.' – Nora, Digital Child Safety Activist [Source: OSINT Industries]
Nora shared with OSINT Industries her remarkable story. This is the story of an OSINT activist who traveled to hell and back, for the victims who needed her most.
Hashtags From Hell: The ‘Order of Nine Angles’ Revealed
‘There was this 13-year-old girl… On stream, she cut her entire body for them. She would do this sometimes daily. They called them “cut shows”. They would have her cut things into herself, and then they would allow others to tell her what to cut into herself… This is the same girl that one leader had convinced to kill her kittens on stream…’ - Ali, Former 764 Victim [Source: VICE News]
Nora’s research on ‘#O9A’ was her first step on the brimstone staircase. It brought up disquieting commonality. The phrase ‘O9A’ repeatedly connected to child safety crises, in particular a long list of sexual crimes – committed by men who claimed, bizarrely, to worship the Devil. Their crimes ranged from overt sexual violence to posession of CSAM, but all were involved with the practice that spawned that Instagram livestream: a particularly twisted and extreme form of sextortion.
Court documents describe the sort of crimes Nora would have encountered via this hashtag. Kalana Limkin (alias ‘vore’), boasted ‘the younger [the females], the better’, forcing his victims to cut themselves and take nude photos ‘every two hours’, making a picture-collage of their suffering. Richard Densmore (alias ‘rabid’) kept a CSAM collection including videos and ‘bloody images of “Rabid”, “S3wer” [his server title]... carved into victims’ limbs… with razor blades and boxcutters nearby.’ The ironically named Angel Almedia (alias ‘sargent grey’/‘necropedocell’) extorted and even sold CSAM featuring mutilation, humiliation, and even abuse of siblings and animals, He called himself a ‘god’ and a ‘beast’, styling himself as a committed Nazi and Satanist, proudly ‘addicted to hardcore child pornography’. All three threatened his victims with exposure to get content, when only they themselves should have felt shame.

Rampant violent abuse on public platforms; children cutting the names of their abusers into themselves, manipulated into abusing even younger siblings ‘on cam’, forced to mutilate and eat beloved pets. For ‘#O9A’ affiliates, this vile sextortion was an achievement. When Nora discovered this behaviour, it was unrecognized by authorities. This hashtag did, however, link to an internationally known group.
‘All this real-world activity is supposed to have a supernatural effect, opening up a gateway into the world for evil energies.’ - Daniel De Simone, Journalist [Source: BBC]
‘#O9A’, Nora found, refers to the ‘Order of Nine Angles’, a UK-born Nazi-Satanist militant group. Despite claiming pre-Christian roots, the O9A began in the 1970s when British neo-Nazi David Wyatt mixed Satanism, accelerationism and Nazism into an unbelievable witches’ brew – that manifests as a political pseudo-cult. The group’s patently ridiculous belief system is difficult to pin down after decades of mutation, and often deliberately overcomplicated. Adherents claim the ability to overcome ‘Nazarene/Magian’ (i.e. Jewish) influence by unleashing the forces of evil, depopulating our planet of morally-compliant ‘mundanes’, and bringing forth the ‘new imperial aeon'; at which point their race of Satanic Ubermenschen may just colonize our solar system.
What is disturbing, however, is not a fantasy framework of evil spirits and intergalactic warfare, but the ways adherents bring this morally-corrupt fever dream into collision with the real world. Admission in, as much as it can be measured, requires committing the ‘ABC Rites’: assault, business (defined as theft) and criminal organization. The first rite mandates sadistic violence, with lynching and rape ‘reccomended’ [sic]. The second legitimizes illegal and abusive actions for profit. The latter compels members to decentralize the movement, spreading its infection further through the social body; they must create their own independent cell or ‘nexion’, committing an atrocity to cement it.

‘To cull humans is to be the ONA’ writes leader Richard Moult (alias ‘Christos Beest’) in ‘The Dreccian Way.’ This would be laughable, if he wasn’t deeply serious. Acolytes of O9A embody an uncomfortable paradox in the age of ‘sh-tposting’ and ‘edgelords’. They may be committing these acts to accelerate an imagined apocalypse or bring forth let’s-pretend demonic forces, but the pain inflicted is very real. Monitors of O9A see their transgressive emphasis on extreme violence, sexual assault, and human sacrifice (or “culling”) as the source of a rising far-right culture of violent sexual sadism and weaponized sexual violence. OSINT and law enforcement investigations show O9A adherents produce overt Nazi terror propaganda, and frequently attempt very real acts of terror.
Increasingly, fuelled by their obsession with transgression and sexual violence, pedophilia is becoming a signature practice too.
‘Actions such as sextortion, possession of CSAM and sexual violence are key ideological elements of O9A that are part of their accelerationist tactics, techniques and procedures (TTPs) and seen by many as a necessary prerequisite.’ – Marc-André Argentino, Barrett Gay and M.B. Tyler, GNET Investigators. [Source: GNET]
One of the peculiarities of O9A has always been its practice of grooming and radicalizing young people. As a decentralized organization and an intriguing ‘brand’ for the generation growing up with the post-organizational far-right, offenders with O9A motivations have been as young as 14. For young people with active imaginations, the lure of ‘Satan’ doesn’t seem like a joke.
It’s possible that from this was born Nora’s second hashtag-of-interest – ‘#764’.
Hashtags From Hell: Decoding ‘764’
‘Extorters threatened to harm Eve’s elementary-school-aged brother or release her explicit photographs. On video calls, they would urge her to kill herself… convince her to carve their usernames into her skin… to strangle her cat, and even to behead her pet hamster on camera. “Bite the head off, or I’ll fuck your whole life up”…’ – An Anonymous Victim’s Experience with ‘764’. [Source: WIRED]
Incest. Animal abuse. Torture. Rape. Bestiality. Forced drug use. Self-harm and mutilation with needles or knives, asphyxiation, strangulation or burning. Ultimately, suicide. This is what ‘764’ means.
Nora learned this ‘gang sign’ indicated the vilest sextortion of minors, and the darkest groups on the Web. Affiliated with the Order of Nine Angles in ways that law enforcement struggle to understand even today – at best, an example of the ‘hybridisation of harms’ – 764 grooms, sexts and doxxes victims, creating ‘LoreBooks’ of CSAM to send to victims’ friends and family if they don’t do what their torturers say. Members are known to send their young victims sharp razor blades and sex toys to use in creating extreme ‘hurtcore’ material.
‘The engine behind this nightmare factory is sextortion.’ – Mack Lamoureux, VICE News Senior Reporter [Source: VICE]
The motive for this child torture-by-sextortion seems obvious: sadistic pedophiles seeking sexual pleasure. However, ‘764’ groups trade in more elusive and sublimated psychological rewards too – feelings of power and domination, delusions of grandeur, or the simple ‘kick’ that comes from controlling another human being. Naturally, O9A ‘Business’ is also a motive, with material feeding a thriving sextortion-CSAM market on the dark web. The ‘764’ playbook is simple; simple enough to be offered as a ‘How-To’ in many Discord servers. Target vulnerable youth, infiltrate kid-friendly games, LGBTQ+ spaces, spaces for mental health ‘venting’, ’gore’ forums, and groups for young fans of the gothic, horrific and dark. Then deliver invitations to private, encrypted platforms like Discord and Telegram to feast on their prey.
Sextortion may be the ‘engine’, but trauma feeds the machine. A cycle of violence often takes place, in which victims are coerced to become perpetrators, the traumatized inflicting more trauma in turn. In true O9A form, the aim is ideological: desensitization, traumatization and pain. 764 groups do not worship the so-called devil; if anything, they worship trauma.
Using SOCMINT, Nora found ‘764’ groups on not only Instagram, but Telegram, Snapchat and other Meta platforms. When exposed, these ‘nexions’ were splitting and morphing into groups with shared aesthetic signifiers and modus operandi: ‘676’, ‘CVLT’, ‘Court’, ‘Kaskar’, ‘Harm Nation’, ‘Leak Society’ and more. Later OSINT research by GNET suggests there is O9A/764 presence for promotion and recruiting on YouTube, Discord, X (formerly Twitter), Telegram, Twitch, TikTok, Steam, Mega, and even Roblox and Minecraft.
‘Yo, I’m going to spread all your CP on Telegram… I’m going to traumatize kids. F-ck their lives homie. Let’s see who should we start with?’ – A User in a 764 Group Chat [Source: VICE]
In 2021, Nora began to map out the spread of ‘764’, conducting OSINT with no tool but her own determination. Her OSINT crusade went on in darkness, bringing her to 764 Telegram groups where she ‘went like a stalker’, monitoring and documenting abusers’ every move. She created a ‘sock puppet’ Instagram account and followed any related hashtag she could find: ‘H3ll’, ‘ANARCHY’, ‘ONA’, ‘O9A’. Before long, she was invited to private communities. She listed in her report all names, aliases, and details her manual OSINT work could uncover. As an activist, she knew this all ‘sounded too crazy for people to take serious’, but Nora believed her evidence was sound enough to convince law enforcement of the veracity of her shocking claims.
Or so she thought. Both Instagram and the FBI received her report, and did nothing.

Walking Toward the Light: An OSINT Partnership
‘These were the people that listened… I was grateful to walk with them a while… into the light.’ – Nora, Digital Child Safety Activist [Source: OSINT Industries]
With no OSINT tool, Nora had infiltrated 764 and O9A. Starting with a single account, this activist had discovered the extent of the rot within ‘clear’ social platforms. Remarkably, she had mapped the winding tendrils of these networks without the use of visualisation tools like Maltego. To generate this OSINT report – a remarkable achievement for a lone investigator – and remain unheard by law enforcement was devastating. Still, Nora wasn’t going to stop.
She reached out to the OSINT community, and made connections with the Anti-Human Trafficking Initiative (ATII). From here, she was no longer ‘investigating in silence’. Befriending Larry Cameron and Matt Richardson, Nora volunteered with ATII to amplify her voice. Now listened to, she was able to amplify the voices of children also; a powerful demonstration of the power of OSINT activists working together, and the power of being ‘heard’. This partnership continued for two years, bringing about concrete action at last.
Nora also connected with OSINT Industries. In the same way Nora had found the ‘Devil’ on social media, she found us as an ally via LinkedIn, when Nora received a direct message offering to sponsor her work with an account. From here, her investigation transformed. She searched a 764/O9A target on OSINT Industries, and immediately found new intel. This search delivered a Telegram account, a phone number, Snapchat and more. Now, she could uncover a government name, from accounts registered years ago, in moments. Working alone, information like this could take hours to find, scrolling ‘twenty pages’ in a Google Dork.
‘OSINT industries is pulling out the deep deep data that is so far away on Google… OSINT Industries takes a second and then I have everything.’ – Nora, Digital Child Safety Activist [Source: OSINT Industries]
These clear OSINT details are key to identify and report on a 764/O9A sextorter, but they are particularly difficult to find when investigating this sort of crime. Digital-native or computer-savvy offenders will often have tight OpSec. What's more, as a crime sometimes perpetrated by minors against minors, establishing ages can be vital. Nora recalls an OSINT Industries search that revealed not only a clear name and address, but the date of an account registration on chess.com. Data from this unusual module in our library could be combined with an old Skype account and Hotmail address to assess an offender was older than expected. As Nora says, she ‘can only do this sort of thing on OSINT Industries.’
This fight, however, didn’t come without wounding memories. Nora recalls when she was working alone, ‘when the public wasn’t aware of sextortion groups… and nobody took it serious enough.’ She was contacted about a victim, suffering at the hands of 764:
‘[We] tried to cheer her up and to make her talk to her parents. But she just wanted to give up. I remember the fear I felt and how I started OSINT to find her location. I found the country and her city. And possible last name. I had to reach another continent and the right authorities. Thanks they reacted within a short time period. I’m thinking sometimes of her and hope she found ways to heal… Stories like this are what encourage me to keep investigating these groups even when I feel sometimes like I don’t want to go in anymore.’ – Nora, Digital Child Safety Activist [Source: OSINT Industries]
Nora’s experiences as a survivor ignited her passion and empathy. These wounds, and these victims, would spur her to keep going. With this investigation, she resolved that she was going to be ‘the person I wanted in the past’. As OSINT Industries became key to workflow, it combined with what Nora describes as a survivors’ ‘map in their mind… of emotions, profiling’. She describes our tool as ‘a blessing’, directing her to ‘the next OSINT step’ on that trail.
In ATII and OSINT Industries, this guardian angel had found powerful weapons.
Defanging the Beast: OSINT Creates Awareness
“ive already been reported to the fbi 15 times and they havent done sh-t’ – ‘felix.#6638’, a 764 Abuser [Source: Washington Post/Archive]

While Nora and the ATII barraged law enforcement with evidence, others took up the OSINT challenge – until a beam of light broke through the clouds.
On 12 September 2023, the FBI made a Public Service Announcement that a violent extremist group known as ‘764’ was obtaining and distributing CSAM via sextortion. Then came the arrests.
‘When police showed up… Cadenhead emerged from [his mother’s] apartment, his hair disheveled. Inside his room… which reeked of body odor, they found a laptop that police later determined contained 20 images of prepubescent girls engaged in sex acts’. – Shawn Boburg and Chris Dehghanpoor, WP Journalists [Source: Washington Post/Archive]
Richard Densmore (‘Rabid’) was exposed as a veteran in his 40s, and jailed on evidence of his ‘cut signs’ in his victims’ skin. Angel Almeida in New York; Chandler Pong in Nevada; Kalana Limkin in Hawaii; and a minor in Romania were exposed as abusers by law enforcement and captured. Texas authorities even arrested the ‘founder’ of the 764 community, Bradley Cadenhead (alias ‘felix’/‘brad’). This 17-year-old faced 80 years in prison on evidence of “I heart CP764” and “Brad is a pedo” carved into other children’s bodies, and videos of users smoking heroin in honor of ‘Brad 764’. He had bragged on Discord that the FBI ‘havent done sh-t’.
On the weight of OSINT investigators like Nora making cybertips and reports, awareness of O9A/764 had reached critical mass, and reached the eyes of law enforcement and the press. Today, 764 is designated a terror network by the U.S. Department of Justice, and a "tier one" terrorist threat by the FBI – a threat level similar to Al-Qaeda. Internationally, the Canadian RCMP and Australian authorities list ‘sadistic sextortion’ groups as Ideologically Motivated Violent Extremists (IMVEs).

‘Covering this like ‘look at this spooky creepy scary weird thing we found on the internet’ isn’t helping anyone…’ - Barrett Gay and M.B. Tyler, GNET Investigators via Vice [Source: VICE]
The greatest achievement by Nora and her peers was not just reflected in arrests, bans and platform restrictions. By revealing the identities of sextorters and raising awareness, OSINT investigators can undermine the power of O9A and 764 – and cut to the heart of what allowed these groups to operate unchecked for so long.
Again – experts are still investigating the precise nature of the clear link between 764 and the Order of Nine Angles. Of course, neither are actually ‘true’ Satanists. However, this link provides both groups with a dark, fantastical shield that OSINT investigators must penetrate. O9A/764 effectively exploits mechanisms of disbelief and memories of the ‘Satanic Panic’ to encourage law enforcement and the public eye to dismiss what they see.
For vulnerable and impressionable kids with undeveloped brains, ‘Satanism’ is a convenient fantasy to explain the darkness they’re seeing and experiencing. Victims describe the aim of 764 is to be the darkest, the most deviant, the scariest, to traumatize the most kids, ‘to be the most evil’ for clout. This evil can only occur if potential victims see the ‘Devil’, and not a forty year old Michiganer, or sweaty 17-year old, behind the keyboard. As Nora demonstrates, the solution to this is to rip the mask away with OSINT; to defang the ‘Beast’ and end these abusers’ double lives.

An Evil Algorithm: SOCMINT Exposes Complicit Platforms
Nora’s SOCMINT research proved that no platform is innocent. OSINT Industries contributes additional research to support her claims.
Most social media platforms are still hosting 764 content, even after concrete action has been taken by law enforcement and investigators.
Like Nora, Stanford Internet Observatory, UMass, and other academic institutions have used OSINT tools to map large-scale networks of sextortion and CSAM on Meta platforms.
Researchers identified 405 seller accounts, 112 of which collectively had 22,000 unique followers. Nora first encountered 764 content on Instagram, proof of the thriving sextortion market on Meta’s platform.
Instagram’s algorithm promoted 764 and O9A content to Nora’s ‘sock puppet’ accounts, and allowed searchable hashtags (i.e. #H3LL, #764 etc) to find accounts advertising violent CSAM or 764 sextortion content. Accounts who follow 764 accounts will be flooded with recommendations and quickly move along the pipeline. Attempts Meta has made to restrict the searchability of this material, Nora says, have simply led to 764 content moving to encrypted invite-only platforms, an approach that ‘merely shifts the problem rather than solving it.’
Telegram
‘Telegram is the dark web on the clear web.’ – Nora, Digital Child Safety Activist [Source: OSINT Industries]
On Telegram, similar attempts were made to block 764/O9A content, but it still thrives. The rot runs deep. Related terms may be unsearchable, but invite links allow hidden 764 communities to operate and target victims, subject only to bans abusers can evade by creating new accounts. This means Telegram remains a hotbed of operations for O9A and 764 – while the platform ‘has clean hands’. The arrest of Pavel Durov, Telegram’s founder, for inadequate action against CSAM is unsurprising.
Discord
‘The actions of… 764 have no place on Discord or in society.’ - A Discord Spokeswoman, speaking anonymously for fear of retaliation from 764-affiliated groups. [Source: Washington Post/Archive]
The popularity of Discord with 764 and O9A is obvious, and well documented (even in mainstream press outlets). Similarly, SOCMINT research by OSINT Industries suggests Discord hosts private encrypted 764 and O9A spaces to this day. An invite to one group was easily found by Google search. Discord’s strategy of delegating responsibility for moderation and flagging abuse to the creators of servers, who may themselves be young people, is allowing 764 to operate freely, despite claims of a "crackdown".
Roblox and Minecraft
Child-friendly games Minecraft and Roblox continue to allow 764 and O9A themed servers, and even 764 Roblox ‘skins’.

Youtube
Youtube remains a recruiting ground. As awareness of 764 rises, Youtubers who create informative or ‘horror’ content will be sought out by users claiming 764 affiliation, or even trauma from their own victimization, to encourage ‘research’ or further interaction with 764. Either implicitly or explicitly, this content leads young consumers to put themselves at risk of becoming victims. Other ‘traps’ include Reddit posts, TikToks and even Urban Dictionary definitions. These are still extremely easy to find, and are so convincing as to hoodwink trained journalists. OSINT Industries located these posts easily at time of writing.

‘In the spring of 2023, Tar, a man who infiltrated the groups, first got in touch with me… I had played right into a trap laid for 764 on Reddit. A 764 abuser had posed as a victim warning others not to look into 764—the hope was this would pique a macabre interest in the group and send possible victims looking. A screenshot of my request to speak to the fake poster was shared among the group.’ – Mack Lamoureux, VICE News Senior Reporter [Source: VICE]
Aesthetics and Algorithms: Feeding the Machine
Although true believers do still exist, most of the 764 and O9A groups active on social media today are not true believers in the wild ideologies and doctrines of the O9A.
‘The possibility of framing O9A ambiguously, both as a real organisation that calls for recruits, as well as a practice of trolling and “sh-tposting”… its ideas can be easily spread.’ - Patrik Hermansson, Hope Hot Hate [Source: HNH]
They are not part of an official ‘nexion’, and are not aiming to initiate. Instead, they use the language, symbols, and imagery of O9A to appear more dangerous or produce shock value, adopting O9A’s aesthetic to advance similar accelerationist goals without adhering to its deeper ideology. These ‘aesthetic adopters’ dominate the current state of 764, and are ironically the most dangerous to young people: they play perfectly into the algorithm.
Nora’s concerns about social media algorithms actively promoting 764 are warranted. In her OSINT work, she recalls the ease by which her ‘sock puppet’ accounts became overwhelmed with 764 content after engaging with one post, group or video. For new recruits, this is a slippery slope into 764. For victims, this is a cycle of retraumatization impossible to escape as their abuse is reposted and shared.
‘If I like cat videos… I get only cat videos. On this fake account, I got only this.’ – Nora, Digital Child Safety Activist [Source: OSINT Industries]

These groups, she observes, use language and symbols to attract victims, and this strategy is working. Groups ‘use smileys… promise money.’ Nora expressed concern about how things will get ‘worse’ as platforms like Instagram turn to extremism and even less moderation. She predicts ‘these groups will thrive, because on Meta there used to be a system that recognised reports, then human moderation, then no moderation…’
This is a prime example of where ‘freedom of expression becomes harmful’, becoming freedom to exploit and abuse.
Guardian Angel: OSINT and Survivors
‘Every monster I catch… is a monster from my past.’ – Nora, Digital Child Safety Activist [Source: OSINT Industries]
Nora is a survivor, and this is a source of great power. She is an avenging angel, and OSINT is her flaming sword. She is able to see victims, feel their pain, and tap into this incredible empathy to understand that ‘for people to say “it's terrible” wasn’t enough’.
In her O9A and 764 OSINT investigation, Nora had to acknowledge that abuse is taking place everywhere, ‘much of it hidden in silence’. As a survivor, however, Nora can use her experiences as fuel for her flame, not only protecting children but recognizing even the subtlest signs that others cannot see.
In harmony with the idea behind our tool, #OSINT4Good, Nora is proud to be using OSINT’s special power to ‘turn the tables’ on abusers. As OSINT has few or no barriers to entry, Nora was able to take things into her own hands to be a guardian for children trapped in sextortion groups. She says OSINT Industries makes it particularly easy to combine her survivor knowledge – ‘a special sense for other victims… the subtle things’ – with the power of our OSINT tool. Nora is able to work ‘like a cyborg’; OSINT Industries is enhancing her instincts, powering intelligence reports that she can easily ‘print out and the real work starts’.
Sharing OSINT Industries with ATII boosted their power to fight sextortion groups, providing ‘the bluetooth to transfer… thoughts onto paper.’ The ability to generate reports vastly accelerated the transfer of information, freeing up more time for combat. By eliminating the arduous process of formatting and presenting evidence, Nora also removed stress and distraction; an OSINT investigator on the autism spectrum this is vital to her success. Our tool ‘helps to speak what I want to say… often when you’re on the spectrum to find the words is hard… but everything is written in the report.’
OSINT Industries is proud to support survivors to reclaim their power and protect the most vulnerable. We’re thrilled to be supporting an investigator who lives out the famous words that when comes to sexual violence, ‘the shame must change sides’.
Continuing her protective crusade for the most vulnerable, Nora is now volunteering as an animal protection activist. Here, she sees a similar cycle of disbelief and ignorance toward victims who can’t speak for themselves. Working with Feline Guardians, she is uncovering and disrupting animal cruelty like she saw in 764 - and continuing to utilize OSINT Industries.
Nora wants to ‘give inspiration… about OSINT’ to other victims and survivors, and to tell other victims they’re not yelling into the dark. They can raise their voices and become the light, hunting down the monsters and shadows that hurt them. Scars can heal, and heal stronger.
‘[She] has spent a year in trauma therapy, which has helped. However, the scars of her ordeal are both mental and physical: the numbers 764 are visible, in the traces of a cutsign on one of her thighs.’ – Ali Winston, Independent Journalist [Source: WIRED]
